Culver
City, CA, USA - Tammy Jackson won the overall
California Womens Bodybuilding Championship and continues on her hot
streak. The crowd at the Cal was entertained by many solid routines
including Jackson's, but one of the most unique was Shoshana Treichel's
which incorporated a lot of her theater background and was to a very
funny song that sounded like it may have come straight out of the PMS
musical you see advertised in Las Vegas. As a whole the
bodybuilders had good routines and that was a good sign even if there
weren't that many in each class for this competition.
On
the fitness side, the numbers were down to two, but figure is still
going strong.
Jessica
Troha took the overall title and was the winner of the D Class.
In A, Brie Zentil won again, followed by Eva Lee, who had
some impressive hamstring development. Akane Nigro shows some
nice shape and if she comes in a hair tighter, will be competing for
the class title. Catherine Sansom made a comeback at the Cal
and won her Masters class and took fourth in the open.
Dr.
Elissa Schlichter made some nice improvements to her physique and took
the B Class title ahead of Eve Overland. There was not a "C"
class, but the E Class was won by Maria Rogers who was the tallest girl
in that class. The D class was a tough one with Allison
Busher taking second to Rogers and the amazing Tanya Merryman taking
third.
The
F class probably had the least depth, and was won by Ifeyinwa Nzerem.
In
the Masters Figure, Allison Busher took the overall while Anne Holbrook
won the over 45 class.
