"I am a 32 year old mother of 2 boys, 2 and 5 years old. Having children is the biggest challenge because training takes a lot of time and dedication and then there are many times I would love to eat all the junk we keep in the cupboards for them. Self discipline and focus keep me motivated. I love to train with my husband, who is into bodybuilding as well. I teach a variety of group exercise classes, including kickboxing, step and cycling at Powerhouse Gym in Temecula. I also write the fitness article for the Times newspaper for the San Diego and Riverside counties. I have been in the fitness industry for over 17 years, but just recently started competing in figure competitions. I was a gymnast as a child, which is where I owe my quads too. The calves are inherited. I am a little more muscular than many of the figure competitors which makes it a little difficult for me to place first, but I prefer to be muscular and powerful. I enjoy competing to the extreme and may consider getting into bodybuilding. With my 5'0" stature I get many strangers stop me and ask me fitness questions in the parking lot of stores. I do enjoy it. I love to motivate my students and others. Please feel free to email me at msrotell@msn.com"
