From the website here (http://www.internext-expo.com) this event is described as: "The world's largest Adult Internet/Audiotext tradeshow. Widely acclaimed as 'The Industry Networking Event,' Internext is the place for individuals and companies who operate adult websites to form business-to-business alliances with other sites and / or service providers."

Held in Las Vegas, NV. at the Sands Expo Center, this was the first time Gene X and I traveled to this event, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Admission is pricey ($150 per person for the 3 day expo) but as a webmaster, it's definitely worth it.

Part 1: THE EXPO

The first thing that impressed me is the size of the event and the elaborate exhibits from the vendors. The largest displays were from the affiliate programs (places that pay money for the annoying pop up ads at adult sites) and content providers (producers of adult pictures and videos who sell their content to other webmasters). There were many other vendors there to display new technologies, web hosting services and other products.

For the female muscle lover out there, I had a chance to see some promising new technology. The webcams are improving and I think that webcams are good for individual bodybuilding girls who are interested in generating some extra income from their paysites. Of particular interest to me was 'VOD' technology, or Video on Demand. If you have broadband connection, you can rent or buy FULL LENGTH videos (1 or 2 hours) that can be downloaded to your computer or television at DVD quality. The demonstration I saw was amazing and I will definitely bring you more information about how you will be able to get FTV videos this way soon.

At most bodybuilding or fitness Expos, the only free thing you get are squares of awful tasting protien bars, but the Internext Expo, your treated like a king:
