How did you get started into lifting weights and training?
I loved working out from a young age and already knew once my
gymnastics
career was over that I would get into competitive body building.
Growing up I
was very athletic. I was a gymnast training at least 5-8 hours a day
all the way through college.
What other sports have you done or are you currently doing?
I played soccer as a young girl, but made the decision to be a
gymnast. When I got into high school I played around with pole vaulting
but then again eventually had no time because of my schedule in
gymnastics.
What are your goals in competition?
To make it onto the Olypia stage and someday take Women’s Physique
overall!
In your opinion, what is your best bodypart?
Biceps!
Do you enjoy being strong? Why?
A million times YES! I’m proud of what I’ve worked for, and it
feels good to stand out in a crowd.
Do you enjoy performing/competing?
Competing if front of an audience is the adrenaline rush I’m always
looking for and this sport allows me to enjoy the rush in the gym and
on stage.
Why do you love lifting weights?
It just flat out makes me feel good.
Tell us what a typical day is like your you.
I go to work, train, nap, go back to work then come home and relax
before bed.
Repeat Monday through Friday then have fun on the weekends!
Do you like to show off your muscles when out in public or do you
cover up?
I like the way I look. I’m very proud to show some arm and leg
every time I’m out!
What misconception about being muscular would you like to dispel?
Being a muscular woman doesn’t make us manly; it’s evidence
that we have strong mentalities like a man
What kind of stuff would we find in the backseat of your car?
Nothing. I like a clean car.
