What is your first and last name?
Lauranda Nall

What is your height and weight?
5’3” 140 pounds

How old are you?
21

What is your profession?
Competitive cheerleading and gymnastics coach

How did you get started into lifting weights and training?
Although I struggled with being overweight my entire childhood, I was always extremely athletic and competitive. At first I began working out at the gym (mostly cardio) in order to lose weight. Then I slowly but surely began lifting and completely fell in love with it!

Watching my body change as I began to get stronger and constantly push my self to further limits got me hooked.

What other sports have you done or are you currently doing?
I did competitive cheerleading and gymnastics for 15 years. I have also been involved in volleyball, track, swim team and softball.

What are your goals in competition?
My goals are to be the absolute best that I can possibly be. Constant progression. I want to take this industry by storm and show the world what I'm capable of.

In your opinion, what is your best bodypart?
my back

Do you enjoy being strong? Why?
Of course I enjoy being strong. To physically be able to wear my hard work and dedication on my body is beautiful to me. It is something earned, not given.

Do you enjoy performing/competing?
I love performing and competing. The feeling I get when I'm up on that stage is so empowering. All eyes are on me and I have this amazing moment to connect with the crowd and the judges and show everyone what I have worked so hard for. That feeling is one of the biggest things that fuels me.

Why do you love lifting weights?
Because there is always a challenge; I am constantly pushing my limits and having to overcome obstacles. I am putting in work that I know for a fact will benefit me and my future. Lifting with my goals and dreams acting as my incentive not only makes me stronger physically, but it makes me stronger mentally as well.

Tell us what a typical day is like your you.
Wake up, do my morning cardio, get all of my meals together and do anything that needs to get done, lift, go to work, go back to the gym after work and possibly lift some and do my nightly cardio. Sleep. Repeat.

Do you like to show off your muscles when out in public or do you cover up?
I like to show them off. You will rarely catch me all covered up. I work hard for the body that I have and I am very proud of it.

What misconception about being muscular would you like to dispel?
Muscularity is constantly associated with masculinity. I am strong and muscular and still extremely feminine.

What kind of stuff would we find in the backseat of your car?
Currently the backseat of my car has a couple water jugs, some books and a pair of tennis shoes.

Person you would like to meet? (living or dead)
Elvis and Marilyn Monroe are definitely at the top of my list. And then of course I would absolutely love to meet the legend himself, Arnold.
