Tina Jo Orban

March 2006 - "I never wanted to be the girl next door…I just wanted to be able to kick her ass." That is the first statement under Tina Jo Orban's bio and is indicative of the strong will and great attitude that she brings to everything, and especially to her training.

Never one to be 'normal' things started off with her parents thinking she would be a boy and her original name was "Toni Jo."

Growing up in Hollywood with two gorgeous sisters, two brothers, and being second to the “baby” of the family, she was known to be quite a tomboy and played baseball, and enjoyed fighting with the boys. You can still see that sassiness reveal itself in her shoots and that wicked smile.

She was always strong as a child and for the Presidential Fitness tests actually beat out everyone including the boys in the chin-up position hold.

Fast forward to adulthood and Tina Jo couldn't supress her competitive nature. It manifested itself first in bikini contests which she won by the dozens. She entered the Miss Fitness Galaxy in 1994, and didn't place as high as she wanted, but the photographers loved her.

They still do today and anyone who Google's Tina Jo will be treated to a history of her appearances in both print and online.

If you happened to be at the 2006 Arnold Classic you may have seen her gracing John Stutz's booth where she was a big hit as she is wherever she goes.

Most recently she competed at the INBA World Natural Bodybuilding + Ms. Fitness and Ms. Figure Championships which she won. She is now contemplating future competitions and may go through the NPC.

She has also completed her ab workout video which she worked with 3rdbird.net in San Francisco and even has made time to write for the San Matean - a local newspaper in the valley.

She will also be appearing in upcoming issues of Planet Muscle, American Curves, and Oxygen magazines.
