Info: "Lived on the Big Island of Hawaii on a working cattle ranch for a year, during which I participated in team triathalons riding the 56 mile bike legs. Best time 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Current training schedule: five to seven days a week in the gym. Usually an hour of weight training followed by 45 minutes of cardio. (When preparing for a competition, I'll do 45 minutes twice a day). Once a week I'll run stadium stairs for 45 - 60 minutes instead of a gym workout.

I enjoy lounging at the beach, gardening and watercolor painting, but sculpting my body is my biggest hobby. I also hike and bike ride.

I'm motivated by the constant mprovements I see in myself and by the positive reineforcement that comes my way from total strangers. I also find it very rewarding when people I don't even know ask me for advice and tell me that they find me an inspiration to continue their own quests for a fitter self. I plan on continuing along this path until I'm setting up fitness programs at the resthome and can't remember my name. At least I'll have some photos to show my grandkids. "See, Sonny.....
