Anna Tomasiello Profile

by Gene X Hwang

May 2004 - Wanted... that's how this was going to begin, but we then realized we didn't know exactly what we wanted. That's where Anna Tomasiello is right now. The 22-year-old native Las Vegas resident stands 5'10" tall and is striking as you might expect. With long legs and eye catching calves, quads and hamstrings, it's hard not to stare, but it's also her wide shoulders and overall curves that complete the picture.

Of course if what was wanted was someone who looks like a cross between Gina Gershon and Cindy Crawford facially, and with a body that could be a real life Lara Croft or more, then Tomasiello is one of the few who could fulfill that role.

But things were definitely much less enjoyable through the awkward teen years for Tomasiello. With a mom who's over 6'1" with a thin build and a father who was 5'7" with a stocky build, Anna received the best of both parents' genetics.

In sixth grade, she went from 5'3" to 5'9" and in that spurt grew 5.5" in just 11 months. Also, she had to wear headgear for her braces and her formerly flat chest grew to a DD, so of course the relentless teasing of other youth resulted in accusations of taking steroids and getting breast implants - all while she was in her teens.

Luckily Tomasiello had sports to channel her energies into. At 12-years-old, she played on the 18-and-under softball team, and played traveling softball for six years where she excelled and was a team leader.

During high school, she contemplated a breast reduction operation due to the ridiculing and self-consciousness, but opted against it. It does show the level of discomfort she felt.

However, Tomasiello decided to embrace her physique instead of trying to avoid it.

At age 20, she started going to 24-Hour Fitness to train.

"I trained with powerlifters - did the same routines and went heavy, especially with legs. The first day, with my knees wrapped, I did eight plates for one rep and three weeks later I did 20 plates for reps on the leg press!"

Impressive, but then again, Tomasiello refers to herself as a "genetic freak" and she's right, in a good way of course.

After a month of lifting, she went down two dress sizes and was pressing 1000 lbs for six reps, all at a youthful 20-years-old.

Since then, Tomasiello has gotten interested and dabbled in boxing and jiu jitsu. She also has high aspirations and wants to maximize her potential like many others.

"I can already see myself sweating orange Gatorade," she adds, referring to being in a Gatorade ad, something that we'd like to see as well. With her striking look and genetic potential, it seems that Tomasiello should have a good shot at making her mark.

We'll be posting part 2 of this later this year or so, so stay tuned for more on Anna!
